Start planning your honeymoon.
Keep current with your budget!
Plan the details with your wedding planner/vendors
Find the right invitations that reflect the kind of wedding you are having (tropical, western, traditional, victorian, etc..)
Shop for bridesmaid dresses
Reserve blocks of hotel rooms for out-of-town guests.
Make sure anything you are renting is reserved (tables, chairs, linens, etc.)
4 Months
Book your honeymoon, location, travel, car rental, etc.
Finalize the guest list.
Book your first dress fitting (there will be at least 2-3!).
Review and book a rehearsal dinner location.
Select groomsmen tuxes or other outfit they
will wear that day.
2 Months
Mail out invitations
Review the marriage license requirements for the state or country you are going to marry in.
Review budget!
Book transportation that day.
Review details with your vendors. Make sure you stay in touch with them.
Purchase wedding bands if you haven't done so yet.
Shop for lingerie and honeymoon clothes.
1 Month
Have your final dress fitting.
Make appointments with hair stylists, manicures, facials, etc.
Print Wedding Programs.
Prepare announcement for newpapers.
Buy gifts for your wedding party.
Update wedding registries if needed.
2 Weeks
Get the marriage license.
Submit any must take shots for the photographer and playlists to musicians.
Break in your shoes to avoid slipping.
Confirm honeymoon reservations.
Arrange seating plan if needed.
Begin organizing/writing thank you notes
Get any name change forms necessary such as banks, DMV, credit cards, loans, etc...

1 Week
Pack for the honeymoon.
Review credit cards, debit cards, make sure you have the money available for the trip.
Give final guest count to caterers.
Keep writing thank you notes.
Remind wedding party any details about the rehearsal, the wedding itself, etc.
Pick up your dress.
Write any toasts, readings.
